Injured in a Car Accident?

Doctor offers telehealth services after car accident with damaged vehicle.

Your Initial Medical Evaluation Is Available by Telehealth!

If you've recently been involved in a car accident in Florida, you may be eligible for medical benefits through your auto insurance.

At Morris Medical Florida Telehealth, we offer physician-led medical evaluations by phone or computer when medically appropriate.

What Is Personal Injury Protection (PIP)?

Florida's Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance helps pay for eligible medical expenses following an auto accident, regardless of who caused the accident.

Depending on your insurance policy and applicable requirements, certain telehealth evaluations may qualify for coverage.

Important: Florida's 14-Day Rule

Florida generally requires you to receive qualifying initial medical care within 14 days of your accident to be eligible for PIP medical benefits.

Don't delay seeking appropriate medical attention following an accident.

Initial Medical Evaluations by Telehealth

A telehealth evaluation may be an option depending on your injuries, medical needs, and insurance requirements.

Morris Medical offers:

  • Physician evaluations by phone or computer when appropriate

  • Convenient appointments throughout Florida

  • Same-day appointments when available

  • Assistance reviewing your insurance information

Some injuries require an in-person examination or emergency medical attention. Telehealth is not appropriate for every accident-related injury.

Will My Auto Insurance Cover the Visit?

Coverage is not guaranteed. Eligibility depends on your policy, applicable Florida PIP requirements, the type of medical services provided, and claim approval.

Our office can discuss your options, and we recommend confirming coverage with your insurance carrier.
