What If My Insurance Doesn't Cover My Medication?
If your insurance does not cover a prescribed medication, don't assume that means the medication will be unaffordable.
Check GoodRx before paying the pharmacy's regular cash price. GoodRx may offer a discounted price that makes the prescription considerably more affordable.
You can also use GoodRx even when your medication is covered by insurance. Compare the GoodRx price with your insurance copay—you may find that the GoodRx price is lower.

Before filling your prescription, compare the GoodRx price with the price you would pay using your insurance. If the GoodRx price is lower, ask your pharmacy about using the GoodRx discount instead of insurance for that prescription.
